Coast Guard Crew Spots, Records Whale off Barnegat Inlet

A crew on a 47-foot Motor Life Boat from U.S. Coast Guard Station Barnegat Light caught a glimpse of a whale about a mile off the inlet Tuesday morning.

They spotted the whale while on patrol about a half-mile from the inlet.
