Brick BOE to Vote on $5.7M In HVAC Upgrades for High Schools

The Brick Township Board of Education will vote Thursday night on approximately $5.7 million in HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) upgrades for Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School.

The BOE will vote on a $1,262,900 contract for the upgrades at BMHS and a $4,458,000 contract at BTHS. DeSesa Engineering Company is the contractor for BMHS;  AMCO Enterprises Inc. is the BTHS contractor.

At the 7 p.m. meeting, which will be held in the Brick Township High School auditorium, the board will also honor student athletes who participated in fall sports and approve curricula to align with state mandates.

    What will be the source of the funding for the $5.7 million? Will we be receiving any money from the State to help cover the this or will the Brick taxpayer be on the hook for the entire cost?

    if BTHS gets any older its going to be on the list of historic places… I hope they approve whatever it is they’re going to do; lets give our kids a decent place to learn.

      Trevor,it is already a decent place to learn….give me an hour to tell you what has been done by this Board,since 2010.Furthermore,what is happening within the next two yrs.
