The Ocean County Freeholders this week approved the appoint of former Brick Township Councilwoman Ruthanne Scaturro to the Ocean County Board of Health.

Scaturro, who also serves as an Ocean County Library commissioner, will take the unexpired term of former Board of Health member Warren H. Wolf, which ends March 23, 2016.

Wolf, the legendary Brick football coach, former mayor, county freeholder and state assemblyman, now 84, has given up a number of offices and appointments he’s held in recent years, including a seat on the Brick Township Board of Education. Last summer, Brick school officials renamed an elementary school on Chambers Bridge Road after Wolf.

Warren Wolf is and will always be one of the best ledendary icons of Brick ..The man did it for the love of Brick not for the power and money ..Wish I could say that about replacement ..

Warren Wolf loves Brick Township. I thought they should have renamed Brick High School after him, but the smaller school is still a great honor.
Now as far as not doing anything for the money, Warren was well paid for his many hours of service to Brick Township and Ocean County. Sometimes he was collecting 3, 4, 5, maybe more taxpayer funded paychecks and a pension plus benefits, all at the same time. Warren Wolf is such a legend that he comes away without the double, triple, quadruple dipper label of many other politicians.
Oh yeah, according to the partisan democrats, The Great Warren Wolf was a part of the Ocean County GOP political machine.
Warren Wolf is now very old and tired.
Warren Wolf is a Great Man.
      Good Luck Warren. God Bless.

Wolf earned the peoples respect ..only difference ..

Poor choice. Purely political. Her husband Steve pulls over 100K from county job. Was he at one time forced to resign from public employment?

Now that only democrat family and friends of Ducey can drain the taxpayers in Brick Township, Scaturro and republicans have to get county paychecks.

Ruthanne retires from her main job and gets another one very quickly funny how that worked out ??
