Ocean County consumers looking for Apple products will soon be able to find a wider selection of them at the Ocean County Mall.
While not a corporate “Apple Store,” a new retailer known as Simply Mac will open in the mall in “late spring or early summer,” according to Tara Melodick, director of marketing and business development for the mall.
Simply Mac sells the same products, prices, warranties, on-site repairs and services as traditional Apple Stores, the company said in an announcement released Wednesday. The Ocean County location, a 3,300 square foot store located near the Center Court mall entrance, will be Simply Mac’s first in New Jersey. The chain, which was founded in 2006, has locations across the United States.

There are no corporate-owned Apple Stores in Ocean County. The nearest are located in Freehold and Lawrence Township, providing an opportunity for a retailer to open its doors in Toms River.
“We are beyond excited to add Simply Mac to our exceptional retail lineup,” said Melodick. “Apple is one of the most requested retailer names we receive so this new store containing all the well-known Apple products will certainly fill a popular category among our shoppers.”
