The pouring rain that came with a sudden storm that drenched Brick Township Friday afternoon – just minutes before the Class of 2015 at Brick Memorial High School were set to walk out to the school’s football field – may have delayed the proceedings, but a memorable ceremony commenced nonetheless.
The impromptu indoor ceremony began with the Brick Memorial High School Select Chorus performing a spectacular rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, followed by a simple-but-perfect message from Salutatorian Haley Hyland: “We made it!”
