The tradition of Summerfest will continue in Brick in 2016, with several popular bands scheduled to perform at the annual celebration at Windward Beach Park.
The bands include:
- June 30: Saved by the 90s
- July 7: The Bronx Wanderers
- July 14: The Amish Outlaws
- July 21, Rubix Kube (The Galaxy’s Most Original ‘80s Tribute Band)
In other news for the summer of 2016, the township council this week approved a new contract for food vending at Brick Beach I.

The contract was awarded to Jersey Shore Snack Shack, of Point Pleasant, which will pay $78,000 over three seasons. The previous contract, according to Council President Paul Mummolo, was for $23,400 per season, about $8,000 lower over the course of three years.
