Earlier this week, Brick Township’s finest helped make Christmas much more cheery for about 340 families.

Members of Brick Township Police PBA Local No. 230, participated in their annual Walmart Shop With A Cop and Toys For Tots programs. Approximately 340 families in Brick Township received toys during the two events, which involves officers organizing a donation drive as well as going shopping with local children at Walmart to pick out gifts.

The PBA thanked Walmart and everyone who donated toys to the program this season.

Job well done, keep the donations local instead of the toys for tots monster that consumes all donations and does little to spread them around….a lot of people in need these days waiting for the hope and change to kick in.
