Many homes in Brick momentarily lost power during overnight storms between Wednesday and Thursday, but by 1:30 a.m., after the tail end of the storm system moved through, just 86 customers were without electricity, Jersey Central Power and Light reported.

There were no reports of tornadoes forming in New Jersey. Many areas of the state, including Ocean County, were under a tornado watch until 11 p.m. Wednesday. The same line of storms did, however, claims the lives of four people in Virginia, where tornadoes did break out.

The storm also caused buildings to collapse in Lancaster County, Pa., and toppled trees in various areas of New Jersey, CBS News reported. A tree toppled onto a home in Neptune Township, Monmouth County.
