The bicycle patrols started over the past two weekends in the Maple Leaf Park complex by the Brick Township police department are working quickly.

Officers deployed in the troubled condominium development made nine arrests, issued 72 summonses and impounded five vehicles, police said in a statement issued Friday. The arrests included charges of DUI, drug possession and warrants.

    • Frank Rizzo

Maybe JW gots himself locked up

      • J W

You only just came back Frank. Where were you? Getting your hip replaced? Fall in the shower? Get confused and have a silver alert out on ya?

      • Eric

Some of the hazzards of being from the “greatest generation” :))

      • J W

Yeah, the greatest generation of cross burners and segregationists. I doubt he ever wore a uniform anyway. Racists are cowards- they sit home or else join up and sit at a desk. That mental disease is for the lazy of mind, spirit and body. Basically Frank to a T!

  • Hydra Trump

    That’s it?

  • east coast resident

This is GREAT!!! Please, lets keep it up. Thank you mayor Ducey. We”ll vote you in again. Thank you Brick police department

  • Stu Pidity

Great start. But the only solution to this mess is to file charges against the Lakewood cult members who buy up these homes and rent them out to Fuquan, Tyshawn, and Laqueesha. All why they collect Section 8 subsidies.

    • Eric

If you truly believe there is a problem you will not find the answer in bigotry.

      • Frank Rizzo

Ask the bigots in the black community the same thing

      • J W

Ask yourself first, you miserable and vile racist.

      • SoWhat?

You are soo tough , Vera

      • Eric

Let me reiterate for you Frank, the solutions for any problem can not be found in bigotry.

    • fta

Cause Fuquan gets his dope $$$ Becky and Jennifer

  • Eric

If you believe there is a problem bigotry is no way to find the solution.

  • Surfrider

Good going BT PD ! Be safe dealing with the element over there!

  • Surfrider

Good one Scott ! lol !

  • Frank Rizzo

Good job…now go after the landlords…make it impossible for them to own these and live in North Jersey and Lakewood. Make an inspection fee on rental units for 500.00 each year.

    • Surfrider

No, that is ridiculous for a fee like that, cannot be. It already is $100, which is too too much. Code enforcement just needs to be notified if anything going on, as far as too many inhabitants (all places have limits), or not up to code, or did not get rent inspection, call it in and complain. Then landlords can get fined accordingly.

  • KaayC

Something functioning. Kudos to BTPD! Kudos to Mayor Ducey.

  • Smokin

Didn’t see any bike police this weekend didn’t it start…

  • Shitlord-Twitsock

WTF is “bicycle training”? I got my bicycle training when I was 7…never forgot how to operate one.

    • KaayC

You weren’t chasing down thugs, or carrying a deadly weapon and bearing the responsibility that entails though were ya! Always a smart ass in the crew.
