Brick’s Beaches Are Back: Sea Wall Covered And Sand Restored for Holiday Weekend

Nonstop work over the past week has paid off in Brick Township, where nearly all of the oceanfront beaches were restored by the end of the day Tuesday.

Crews have been preparing for the Memorial Day holiday weekend for over a week, transporting sand to the beachfront and spreading it to restore entrances and eliminate a slope that was as steep as 10 feet in some areas near the township’s sea wall.
