Police arrested two Brick residents Thursday and charged them with drug distribution following the execution of a search warrant at their condominium unit.

The arrests came after the Brick Township Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit searched the unit, located on the 300 block of Sawmill Road, in the Maple Leaf Park condominium complex.

Ezra Figueroa, 21, and Jessica Fluet, 26 both of Sawmill Road, were charged after police seized of 349 wax folds of heroin, 14 suboxone pills and several hypodermic syringes, Sgt. Neal Pedersen said. The search warrant was the result of an investigation into drug dealing activity, according to police.

The unit that was searched was equipped with a reinforced door and surveillance equipment, Pedersen said, resulting in additional charges.

Figueroa and Fluet were both charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin less than one half ounce, two counts of possession of heroin and suboxone, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic syringes and fortified premises.

Photos of the suspects were not available.

WAIT WHAT? There’s a law where you can’t fortify your door and have a surveillance system? Hell half the residents of Herbertville have installed heavy doors and surveillance system since our “friends” from the west have moved in.
