An interest meeting has been scheduled for members of the community interested in volunteering and organizing the 2017 Relay for Life event.
The event raises funds to fight cancer and recognizes survivors and those who have passed away.
There are many different size positions, big and small, organizers say.

“If you have any amount of time, we have a spot for you!” an announcement said. “Join us for an informative brainstorming meeting to learn how you can help plan the 2017 Relay for Life of Brick and bring your community together in the fight against cancer.”
The meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Brick Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road. If you can’t make the meeting but would like more information, please contact Tara Novak at 732-292-4262 or tara.novak@cancer.org.
