A group of streets in the northern half of the township is the next to be repaved, Brick officials said.

A $228,213 contract was awarded this week to Earle Asphalt Company, the low bidder in the “Sweeney Avenue West” section project. The work will include milling, paving, replacement of sewer grates and, in some areas, curbing and ramp replacement.

The streets included in the project are Sweeney Avenue West, Drew Avenue, Hayes Avenue, Michael Avenue and Brian Avenue.

I hope it’s not the same company that recently paved Rt 70 between Rt 88 and Herbertsville rd. That is the worst paving job I have ever seen.

The new traffic line patterns at Rt 70 and Van Zile rd are going to be a nightmare. I bet they dont last one month!
Please Mayor get state to change it NOW.

To the folks that are going to have their street paved, watch your trees and bushes . These companies have a tendency to butcher them. They butchered my tree and now it a mess, also I now have water in front of my house every time it rains!!!
