Residents of seven Brick Township streets will have a fresh coat of blacktop and drainage improvements in the near future.
The township council unanimously voted this week to seek bids for road construction in the Heritage Hill and Laurel Crest developments.
In Heritage Hill, the streets to be repaved include Merrimac Way, Revere Drive, Revolutionary Road and Liberty Lane. In Laurel Crest, the streets to be repaved include Poplar Way, Center Drive and Folsom Drive.

The project includes milling and paving, drainage improvements and driveway aprons.
Once bids are received by the township, the council will award the work to the lowest qualified bidder, at which point the township and construction companies will meet to decide a schedule.
