Prosecutors in Ocean County have identified the man whose life was lost in a homicide that occurred in the township Saturday and was first reported Sunday.
Details on the nature of the incident, which occurred on Acorn Drive, are largely unknown. But on Monday morning, authorities identified the victim as Mark Richard Austin, 55, of Brick Township.

Tax records show the home where the alleged homicide occurred, 770 Acorn Drive, as being owned by Barbara Austin, who purchased the property in 2014.
