Brick Police Arrest 3 Suspects After Finding 250 Heroin Doses, Crack Packages for Sale

The Brick Township Police Street Crimes Unit worked with their counterparts at the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and Lakewood police to apprehend three suspects following an investigation that led to to about a dozen criminal charges and the seizure of quantities of numerous illicit drugs.

The investigation began Tuesday, June 18 after Brick detectives witnessed multiple drug transactions, which led to two motor vehicle stops in Lakewood. The Lakewood Police Department assisted with the stops, which occurred in Lakewood. In their statement on the arrests, did not state the initial location of the suspected drug deals.



The first stop led to the arrest of Aliana T. McColley, 30, of Lakewood, for possession of crack cocaine. The second stop led to the arrest of Reginald A. McNeil, 22, of Asbury Park, for conspiracy to distribute drugs, and Nyshawne S. Sutton, 39, of Lakewood, for drug distribution. As the arrestees were brought to Lakewood Police Station for processing, Sutton ran away from police but was quickly apprehended, said Brick Police Sgt. Jim Kelly.

A short time later, a judge approved a search warrant for the vehicle in which McNeil and Sutton were traveling. The ensuing search uncovered approximately 250 wax folds of suspect heroin packaged for resale, crack cocaine packaged for resale, marijuana, suspected MDMA tablets and paraphernalia, Kelly said.

Additionally, $351 in cash was seized pending forfeiture.

Sutton was charged with the following on a warrant:

  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Heroin
  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Possession of MDA
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
  • Possession with the Intent to Distribute Heroin
  • Distribution of drugs
  • Resisting by Flight
  • Possession of drug Paraphernalia, and
  • Escape.

He was subsequently lodged in the Ocean County Jail.

McNeil was charged with the following on a complaint summons and released:



  • Conspiracy to distribute drugs
  • Loitering to Obtain drugs
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Heroin
  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Possession of MDMA
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
  • Possession with the Intent to Distribute Heroin
  • Possession of drug Paraphernalia.

McColley was charged with the following on a complaint summons and released:

  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Tampering with Evidence
  • Possession of drug Paraphernalia.

Sutton was the only suspect whose photo was available.
