Coastal Flood Advisory Extended to Wednesday Afternoon

A coastal flood advisory has been extended to 2 p.m. Wednesday, covering the morning high tide cycle, meteorologists with the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly said.

Minor tidal flooding is expected at times of high tide, a statement from the office said. Residents of streets prone to flooding are being urged to move their vehicles to higher ground as a result.

In Brick, high tide times are:

• Riviera Beach (Manasquan River): 8:57 p.m. Tuesday; 9:24 a.m. Wednesday
• Beaver Dam Creek (entrance): 11:30 p.m. Tuesday; 11:57 a.m. Wednesday
• Mantoloking Bridge: 1:17 a.m. Wednesday
• Metedeconk River (Inside): 11:12 p.m. Tuesday; 11:39 a.m. Wednesday
