A coastal flood advisory has been extended to 2 p.m. Wednesday, covering the morning high tide cycle, meteorologists with the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly said.
Minor tidal flooding is expected at times of high tide, a statement from the office said. Residents of streets prone to flooding are being urged to move their vehicles to higher ground as a result.
