A Brick Township man is facing numerous charges after police say he crashed his car while drunk with minors in the vehicle.
According to police, John Dealto, Jr., 37, of Monterey Drive, was the driver of a car that crashed into the woods and caught on fire in the area of Pinecrest Drive and Mandalay Road Oct. 23 around 7:20 p.m. Officers who responded found the car on fire, about 100 feet into a wooded area, Sgt. Henry Drew said.
Officers, Drew said, immediately checked the vehicle and determined that all the occupants had exited prior to the arrival of police. Officers then began their investigation, and ultimately arrested Dealto for driving under the influence.
