Staff and volunteers with Dottie’s House, a transitional housing program in Ocean County for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence, will host a “Parrothead” themed casino night at Hemingway’s in Seaside Heights next month.
“Come out in your finest Parrothead attire and join us for an evening filled with gaming, a buffet dinner, and a gift auction,” a flyer for the event says.”As always, the best dressed Parrothead of the night will also win a special prize!”
The event will take place the night of Friday, Nov. 14.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Dottie’s House. In addition to shelter, Dottie’s House provides resources such as group and individual counseling, job training, computer training, and play therapy for the children. Graduates from Dottie’s House have attained emotional and financial independence and moved on to live lives free from domestic violence.
Anyone interested in attending or supporting Dottie’s House through its 3rd Annual Casino Night can call 732-295-7380 or visit www.dottieshouse.org.
