Brick police have charged a township man and woman in the armed robbery of the Pleasure Zone adult store on Chambers Bridge Road.
Colin H. Evans, 30, and Erin N. Bozeth, 35, both of whom live on Mantoloking Road, have now been formally charged in the Oct. 19 robbery. They had been lodged in the Ocean County Jail since the night of the robbery on “numerous drug charges,” Sgt. Henry Drew said.
“Detectives continued to work on the case, and through diligent and tireless investigation were able to eventually charge Evans and Bozeth with the robbery,” said Drew.

Detective Gregory Mullarkey signed the formal complaint against the pair Oct. 31. Drew said during the robbery, the suspects took about $1,000 in cash from the store.
Evans is charged with robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of nine hypodermic syringes. Evans’ bail is currently set at $215,000 cash.
Bozeth is charged with robbery, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of nine hypodermic syringes. Her bail is currently set at $115,000 cash.
