The Dragons maintained their season of utter dominance Friday night, besting Princeton High School Little Tigers 48-12 in the Central Jersey Group IV playoff matchup that will send Brick to the semifinals.
The Dragons will face Jackson Memorial, another powerhouse team this season, next week.
QB Carmen Sclafani finished with 322 yards of total offense, running for two touchdowns and throwing for a pair of touchdowns, the Shore Sports Network reported. Also, according to the SSN report, Jay Obenauer finished with 119 yards rushing and three touchdowns in the victory.
The Mustangs, however, fell to Cherokee High School Chiefs 45-28 in their first playoff match of the season. According to the SSN report, QB Tim Santiago had a 34-yard touchdown run and senior slotback Matt Cathey had a 42-yard score during the game, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Chief’s potent offense.
