A Brick woman was arrested by Manchester police after the driver of the minivan in which she was riding was arrested on a drunk driving charge.
Crystal Cwiklik, 31, had outstanding warrants from the municipal court in Edison, Capt. Lisa Parker said.
She was arrested and ultimate released on her own recognizance after being processed at Manchester police headquarters following the traffic stop, which occurred 1:57 a.m. Saturday morning, said Parker.
The driver, Scott Montoro, 43, of Easton, Pa., was stopped after officers say they saw him speeding and not maintaining his lane of travel on Route 70 while driving his 1999 Plymouth Voyager. After some roadside tests, Montoro was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, Parker said. Montoro was also found to have $1,000 in outstanding warrants out of Seaside Heights municipal court and had been driving while his license was suspended, according to police. He was turned over to the Seaside Heights Police Department after he was charged in Manchester.
