A snow accumulation map from the National Weather Service, Dec. 10-11, 2014.
The National Weather Service has said little or no snow will accumulate in the Shore area from a round of snow showers that could arrive later Wednesday and linger into Thursday.
Clouds and the occasional sprinkle during the day Wednesday could give way to snow showers after 2 p.m., the forecasting agency said. The day will remain breezy with northwest winds howling at 18-20 m.p.h., but despite a 60 percent chance of precipitation, little to no snow accumulation is expected, especially with a high temperature of 42 degrees.
Scattered snow showers will continue overnight, again with little to no accumulation, according to the National Weather Service. The low will be about 31 degrees.
The snow showers could continue into Thursday before 11 a.m., with a chance of rain showers afterward. The high will be near 40.
