Brick Township’s Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant will host a Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, December 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to benefit the Visitation Relief Center, which aids families and individuals in Monmouth and Ocean Counties affected by Superstorm Sandy.
“The Lube” will feature unique cars and trucks on display, including fire, police and EMS vehicles from local first responders, race cars and the fan-favorite Quaker Steak & Lube junior dragster, offering kids of all ages a unique hands-on experience, organizers say.
In lieu of payment, guests are asked to bring a suggested donation of $5 per person or a new, unwrapped toy to support The Lube’s month-long toy drive. All proceeds and toys will be donated to Visitation Relief Center to support its efforts surrounding the holiday season.
