WinterFest, a dinner-dance to support the Bobby Buecker Foundation, will be held Feb. 28, organizers recently announced.
The foundation is named for Bobby Buecker, a Brick resident who died at the age of 15 after battling a long-term illness. Since his death in 1995, the foundation that bears his name, supported over the years by Knights of Columbus Council #836, has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help other local families that are facing hardships associated with long-term illnesses.
WinterFest will be held Feb 28 at St. Dominic’s Parish Center, at Route 88 and Van Zile Road, and feature food donated by Carrabba’s Italian Grill, cocktails and music from The Infernos. The cost is $75 per person.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the event lasts until 11 p.m. For more information, contact Sally or Ed at 732-899-8440 or John at 732-477-5050.
