A Lakewood man has been sentenced to five years in prison for having sexual contact with two girls who were 11-year-old, officials confirmed.
David Jusino, 23, previously pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree sexual assault, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office. The sexual contact with the two girls occurred in Toms River during the summer of 2013.
Jusino will have to serve 85 percent of his sentence under the state’s No Early Release Act and register as a sex offender after he is released from prison, Superior Court Judge Rochelle Gizinski ruled. An evaluation at the state’s sex offender treatment center at Avenel found Jusino not to be a repetitive and compulsive offender, Della Fave said.
