The Brick Township school district has canceled after-school activities, programs and meeting Monday due to the threat of icy roads as temperatures drop.
“Wet roadways and sidewalks are becoming icy very quickly,” a message from the district said.
Parents whose children participate in the after-school BEST program are being asked to make arrangements to pick up your child as soon as possible. BEST program staff will, however, stay until all children are picked up.

“We encourage all our staff, students and parents to use extra caution when entering and exiting our school buildings for their own safety,” the message said.
