A 30-year-old Brick man has been indicted on a charge of assault by auto in a 2014 automobile accident during which prosecutors say he was intoxicated while driving.

A Monmouth County grand jury returned an indictment against Nicholas J. Graf, of Schindler Drive, this week, prosecutors said. The charges stem from a July 14, 2014 crash that occurred on Route 35 in Wall Township.

Wall Township police said at the time of the crash that Graf was driving a 2014 Ford pickup truck when he rear-ended another vehicle, setting off a chain-reaction style accident that involved four vehicles. One person, identified in the indictment only as L.B., was injured.
