The annual Italian Feast at the Jersey Shore began Thursday night at Epiphany Roman Catholic Church on Thiele Road.
The event began with a good crowd, plenty of food, music, vendors, rides and games. Attendees had plenty of food for dinner and desert – we can personally attest that the pasta, meatballs and freshly shucked clams (as well as the beer) were excellent – and games range from the watergun challenge, to the lucky wheel, to testing your highest baseball pitching speed.
There are no admission or parking costs. The feast runs from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. through Sunday night. The church is located at 615 Thiele Road, just off Herbertsville Road.
