Motorists who use the Garden State Parkway will get a reprieve from what was supposed to be a planned temporary closure of Exit 90 beginning Wednesday night.
“It was a scheduled nighttime closing and would have reopened before the Thursday morning rush hour, but it has been postponed,” said Thomas Feeney, spokesman for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
The closure was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and would have forced residents traveling northbound to Brick to either get off early at interchange 89 or keep going northbound and exit at interchange 98 in Wall Township.
No new date for the closure has been set, Feeney said.
