Brick police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who entered the Chambers Bridge Residence building at the Brick Township Housing Authority complex and stole the change machine from its laundry room.

The incident occurred Oct. 19 at about 4 a.m., Sgt. Larry Petrola said.

According to police, the unidentified white man was with another man named John Mandola, also known as John Mathers, who has a relative who resides in the complex. While inside the building, the suspect removed a change machine that was located in the laundry room. He exited the building through a door to the rear of the building with the change machine, then entered a dark colored SUV that was parked in the Singin gas station parking lot and fled the area, according to police.
