State lottery officials have confirmed a third-place ticket in Wednesday’s $500 million Powerball jackpot was sold at a convenience store in Brick.
The ticket, which matched four white balls and the Powerball, was sold at the 7-Eleven store at 375 Brick Boulevard. It was one of seven third-place tickets sold in New Jersey.
In addition to the third prizewinning tickets, there were 347,833 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $1,690,431 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger. Nobody won the jackpot outright in the multi-state game.
