Brick Township has opened two parking lots in town where residents can relocate their cars in preparation for flooding anticipated in this weekend’s predicted nor’easter.

Residents in low lying areas may relocate their cars for the duration of the storm to the Drum Point Sports Complex, Hibbard Youth Baseball Complex (56 Tiller Lane) and Boland Youth Baseball Complex (2000 Lanes Mill Road). These areas will be cleared once all streets are cleared, officials said in a statement.

Residents who park in the lots will also need to be prepared to clear snow from around your vehicle after the storm.
