Brick police, as well as county and state law enforcement agencies, were on the scene where what appears to be a human skull has been found in the Lake Riviera section, authorities confirmed.
The agencies are canvassing the area of Old Toms River Road and Arizona Drive, Sgt. Neal Pedersen said. Old Toms River Road and Arizona Drive is closed between Beaverson Boulevard and Emerald Drive while officers are on scene.
No additional details of the suspected skull – its age and other factors, including how it was found – were released by police.
