Brick police have arrested a 23-year-old township man following an investigation into drug distribution in the troubled Maple Leaf Park condominium development.
Brick Police Detectives arrested Kayvon R. Tinnery, of the 100 block of Sawmill Road, Thursday.
“This search was the culmination of an investigation which spanned several months,” police said in a statement. “The investigation focused on the distribution of narcotics within the Maple Leaf Park complex.”

Detectives seized several different prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles and a 22 caliber handgun, according to Sgt. Henry Drew.
Tinnery was charged with possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, possession of a firearm while committing a narcotics offense, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of certain weapons, three counts of possession of prescription legend drugs, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. Bail was set by Municipal Court Judge Robert M. Lepore at $150,000 cash. Tinnery was transported to the Ocean County Jail without incident, where he remained Friday.
