Brick police are seeking help from the public to identify a suspicious man who went to the St. Dominic School office and the church rectory.

The incident occurred Wednesday at about 2:30 p.m., said Capt. Vincent Pacitti.

Prior to the arrival of officers, Pacitti said, the man had been inside the school office and the church rectory speaking with staff.  School and church personnel told police that the man was “rambling incoherently and seemed confused.”

The man then left the scene prior to police arrival in a gray sedan – possibly a Toyota. Brick Police maintained a presence at the school until all students were dismissed, said Pacitti.

Brick police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man, so it can be determined if he requires any assistance. Anyone who believes they may recognize the man is being asked to please contact Detective Joseph Leskowski at 732-262-1121 or Detective Kenneth Steinberg at 732-262-1113.  They may also contact the Brick Police directly at 732-262-1100.
