A project approved this week will cover the repaving and drainage improvements many Normandy Beach residents have been calling for since their streets were damaged in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
The Brick Township council this week approved a $301,279 contract to cover the milling, paving and drainage improvements on numerous streets in the neighborhood.
The streets included in the improvement are: Normandy Drive, Broad Avenue, Ellison Drive, 6th 7th and 8th avenues, as well as Lake Court.
The contract was awarded to Esposito Construction, of Old Bridge, Middlesex County.
