A Brick man who police say overloaded his landscaping trailer with heavy stone was issued a summons after his two vehicle overturned on a state highway Tuesday.

Martin Gonzalez, 51, was traveling Northbound on Route 34 in the slow lane near the area of Broad Street when he lost control of the vehicle, according to Wall Police Lt. Greg Carpino. Due to the heavy weight on the trailer, he swerved to the east and traveled off the roadway, then rolled into the wood line coming to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

No injuries were reported from the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Carpino said.
