A swim advisory has been lifted for Windward Beach after a second round of water testing did not find elevated levels of bacteria.

According to the Ocean County Health Department, no beaches in Brick or the surrounding areas are under such advisories. Three tests conducted Tuesday, the day the advisory was issued after tests the previous day, all showed enterococci levels far below those considered safe.

Monday’s test showed enterococci at 160 (cfu/100ml), above the state limit of 104. The latest round of tests showed levels had decreased to 10 and 20 (cfu/100ml).
