The Brick Township Board of Education failed to hold its scheduled meeting Thursday night after four of the seven members of the board did not make the meeting, producing a lack of a quorum.
The board’s bylaws require at least four of the seven members of the board to be present in order for a meeting to be held. Board President John Lamela, and members Victoria Pakala and George White were the only members present.
An agenda for the meeting was quickly removed from the district’s website Thursday night.
Lamela said at the meeting that he will speak with board members to determine the best date for a make-up meeting.
