Ocean County will begin two milling and paving projects on major roads in the township this week, Brick officials said Monday.

The township council voted to lift the town’s noise ordinance so the projects could move forward. Beginning Thursday, Council President Paul Mummolo said, milling and paving will take place on Cedar Bridge Avenue, between Route 70 and Hooper Avenue. The project is expected to take three nights.

After that project is complete, construction will move to Burnt Tavern Road, which will be milled and repaved between Van Zile Road and Route 70. That portion of the project is expected to take five days to complete.
