A program focusing on healthy dating relationships for teenagers will be presented at the Brick Township branch of the Ocean County Library next week.
Teens will learn to recognize signs of violence and inappropriate behavior, and learn about dating rights and responsibilities and also how to set personal boundaries. Most importantly, they will understand how to create safety planning, organizers of the talk said.
The free workshop is suggested for teens, parents, professionals, and the general public. The program will “discuss dating relationship warning signs, dispel myths and misconceptions, and give real-life examples that address the difficult scenarios teen dating can bring,” according to organizers.
