Brick has dispatched a total of 92 snow plows to clear streets, officials said Thursday, as the Shore deals with the first major snowstorm of 2018.
The first shift of plows will work until 9 p.m., then the second shift will work from 9 p.m. to 12 noon Friday.
Crews will open a lane on every street; after that, they will go back to begin clearing streets from curb to curb and pushing back snow at intersections and corners.
“We appreciate your patience,” the township said in an announcement.
A blizzard warning remains in effect until 7 p.m. Then frigid temperatures will move in – the high Friday is expected to be just 18, with wind chills in the single digits.
