A plot of land on which one home currently stands will be subdivided into eight different residential properties, according to a plan filed with Brick officials by a local developer.
The plot of land, located at 287 Van Zile Road, would be subdivided into eight lots, including six single family residential lots, one basin lot and one open space lot. The open space lot would be dedicated to the township and may require variances including for minimum lot size, according to the filing with the planning board. The remaining lots would all exceed the required 10,000 square feet. An existing home will be demolished.
The development has been proposed by Spruce Equities, LLC. The lot is owned by Chaya Wolhendler, of Lakewood, according to public records. The Brick planning board will hold a hearing on the application at its Feb. 14 meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at the township municipal complex.
