Brick Police Searching for Hit-and-Run Driver

Brick police are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian on Herbertsville Road, leaving him with a serious head injury.

The accident occurred Wednesday between 4 and 5 a.m. near the intersection of Herbertsville and Maple Avenue. According to police, the vehicle fled the scene after striking the pedestrian.

The vehicle is believed to be a silver, 2005-2007 Ford 500 or Mercury Montego with drivers side damage and missing a drivers side mirror.
