Brick’s latest street paving project will tackle three roadways, two of which have not been paved in over 30 years.
The Bluff View Improvement Project will include milling, paving and drainage improvements on Point View Road, Paramount Way and Eagle View Ridge. The paving project is named for the development, known as Bluff View Estates, which is situated in the northern portion of town, backing up to the Manasquan River.
Though it is known as the Bluff View project, it does not include Bluff View Drive itself, which is the source of many complaints from motorists due to its poor condition. Township Administrator Joanne Bergin said that street will be included in a separate project known as the “Holly Hill Cove Roadway Project” which will be funded in this year’s capital budget.

Mayor John Ducey said the Bluff View Estates neighborhood frequently comes up during conversations with residents.
“This is one of the most highly-requested streets on Facebook Live, for sure,” Ducey said.
Neighbors have told Shorebeat the street has never been paved since the neighborhood was built in the late 1970s.
