A professional building on Princeton Avenue will appear before the township’s zoning board later this month for a hearing on a planned expansion.
The property at 15 Princeton Avenue, owned by F. Nirschl Realty Holdings, is seeking permission to build a two-story addition consisting of 545 square feet on the first floor, 606 square feet on the second floor and a 546 square foot basement.
The hearing, scheduled for July 11, is necessary because of several minor variances that are required before construction can begin. A variance is required to have a parking lot located 12.5 feet from a residential zone boundary, where a 25-foot buffer is usually required; a lot measuring 20,000 square feet where 14,095 feet is proposed; a front setback of 17.9 feet where 50-feet is usually required; and 70 percent lot coverage where 65 percent is usually the limit.

The hearing will be held July 11 at the township’s municipal complex on Chambers Bridge Road.
