A supermarket on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach sold a runner-up ticket in the Mega Millions lottery game worth $10,000, state lottery officials said Wednesday.
The Stop & Shop store located at 505 Richmond Avenue (Route 35 South) sold a third-tier prizewinning ticket for the Tuesday, Dec. 4 drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.
If those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, the prizes will be multiplied to $30,000. The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Dec. 4 drawing were: 28, 31, 41, 42 and 50. The Gold Mega Ball was 04, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.
