Two Brick residents suffered serious leg injuries after their vehicles collided Thursday morning, police said.

The accident at the intersection of Lanes Mill Road and Stephan Road occurred at 7:35 a.m., according to Sgt. Neal Pedersen. According to police, Gregory Grover, 45, of Brick, was traveling north on Lanes Mill Road approaching the intersection with Stephan Road and the Dorado Plaza in a 2013 Land Rover Range Rover when another vehicle crossed into his path.

The other vehicle, a 2002 Ford Taurus being driven by Troy Garrett, 50, of Brick, made a left-hand turn in front of the SUV, Pedersen said. The Ford was seriously damaged and its driver needed to be extricated from the car by members of the Herbertsville Fire Company.
