U.S. Rep. Andy Kim (D-3) will host his first town hall meeting in Ocean County this weekend since being sworn in as the third congressional district’s representative in Washington.
The town hall meeting, open to the public, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holiday City West, 45 Cabrillo Blvd, Toms River, NJ 08757. According to a statement from Kim’s office, the congressman will “report on his first month in Congress” and discuss efforts to lower prescription drug prices, protect Social Security and Medicare, and establish constituent service programs in both Washington and in New Jersey. He will also take questions from constituents.
“I want to thank Holiday City West for hosting us for this event,” said Kim. “I’m looking forward to listening to our neighbors and bringing their ideas and concerns back to Congress to get things done.”
